Good controls, pieces move smoothly and the two player option is great. Also in response to another review, the reason the avarage is low is because when peole deleat apps, they have the option to give it a star rating but dont need to write anything.
For all you people complaining about the 30 second screen, GET OVER IT!
This game is an EVALUATION, your lucky you can play as many games as you want for free. If the screen annoys you try buying the full version and stop whining like a baby.

Remove the advertising. People dont like it and they are deleting this app off their phones and its bringing your rating down! Otherwise this is an awesome app! just make this one free and add some more boards and better graphics on the paid one. Thats all.
There is no way to win the game. Also, there shouldnt be any advertising at the beginning. It is good practice, though.

Some bad moments
Ive never been so pissed off at a game in my life. It made me want to smash my iPod I mean its just so annying do not buy totally dont rcomend it wont let u do ur move even when ur not in check waste of time
Either im a douche or this game is near impossible....even on difficulty 1 and i can never move where i want to even out of check. Also y can i never kill the enemys queen w/ my king when he can...
Tried to play the game after downloading. Took so long with the ads, I just gave up and uninstalled it.
A good trail of the game but fix the ads I mean the first time I download and go into this app I was confused because its was beginners trap.
I read a lot of reviews and DL the app. The game came up in 2 seconds. So that was fixed . Also you tap a button and you get into the game right away. So that was fixed. The Real problem is the game itself! I tried to take the pawn right in front of me with the queen and it Wouldnt do it!! The least the company can do is make it play like a Real game and I would Gladly pay for it.They choose to make it Free, so why dont you make it work the way it should.?!
Startup time is way too long simply because its an evaluation. Half the time would be appropriate.
