Tried to play the game after downloading. Took so long with the ads, I just gave up and uninstalled it.

I want to say that its free so thats why there is ads. Maybe not taking so long though.

A good trail of the game but fix the ads I mean the first time I download and go into this app I was confused because its was beginners trap.

it totaly rips you off dont buy it. it is so cheap

Awesome game! Although I wouldnt buy the full version...

No complaints; cmon its free! My only improvement would be to remove the "rotating" board in the two player version. Distracting and you lose you mental picture of the game *each time* someone moves!

Good chess game but splash screen takes forever to let you in the game, so I deleted it and looked for another similar free chess game on itunes store.

Its a game of chess, does not get any better than that. To all the crybabies: I sincerely doubt the 10 seconds you have to wait at the startup screen is a huge hinderance upon your life. I doubt whatever you may be doing at the time is actually valuable. And if it is, you wouldnt be playing chess. My only problem was when my pawn reached the other end of the board, I couldnt convert to a queen. Other than that, 4 stars from me.

I read a lot of reviews and DL the app. The game came up in 2 seconds. So that was fixed . Also you tap a button and you get into the game right away. So that was fixed. The Real problem is the game itself! I tried to take the pawn right in front of me with the queen and it Wouldnt do it!!  The least the company can do is make it play like a Real game and I would Gladly pay for it.They choose to make it Free, so why dont you make it work the way it should.?! 

Since the new update and since that waiting screen was taken off, this became the best chess game in the app store! If the adds get to you, just buy the full version.

And its free.

One of my favorite apps, I play all the time. As soon as online is released on the .99$ version Ill buy it.

Startup time is way too long simply because its an evaluation. Half the time would be appropriate.

Great, but doesnt support bluetooth, and doesnt take stalemates into account.

The games graphics were ok, but even on the lowest setting, the AL was to hard.

Supports pawn promotion. Does not recognize stalemate. Love the simplified shape board theme option.

I was out of cell service in the woods and the game locked and froze up once it worked out it could not load the adverts. Very poor.

I love this game but the ads block your stolen peices it can get annoying but I like it.
