The application itself is almost average for a mobile program but it takes rather long sometimes for it to find another player, sticks an advertisement directly over the area that compares both sides, it fails to work in landscape mode, have a examine or review game mode, have time controls for the intervals between each move ( different than the Fischer method - for lames that like to move twice then let the clock run hoping you quit ) and is full of idiots who stare at the screen for forty seconds waiting for you to move, when they got the white pieces. I think a small chat room would be a popular feature if added and a collection of puzzles available offline would be reasonable improvements BUT I SALUTE THE PRICE OF SOFTWARE, THE FLIP BOARD OPTION, THE ABILITY TO TYPE MESSAGES TO YOUR OPPONENT, etc.

Good controls, pieces move smoothly and the two player option is great. Also in response to another review, the reason the avarage is low is because when peole deleat apps, they have the option to give it a star rating but dont need to write anything.

For all you people complaining about the 30 second screen, GET OVER IT! This game is an EVALUATION, your lucky you can play as many games as you want for free. If the screen annoys you try buying the full version and stop whining like a baby. Great game by the way!

Remove the advertising. People dont like it and they are deleting this app off their phones and its bringing your rating down! Otherwise this is an awesome app! just make this one free and add some more boards and better graphics on the paid one. Thats all.

Ive never been so pissed off at a game in my life. It made me want to smash my iPod I mean its just so annying do not buy totally dont rcomend it wont let u do ur move even when ur not in check waste of time

Either im a douche or this game is near impossible....even on difficulty 1 and i can never move where i want to even out of check. Also y can i never kill the enemys queen w/ my king when he can...

There is no way to win the game. Also, there shouldnt be any advertising at the beginning. It is good practice, though.

Great game to pratice (its sooooooo easy to beat the computer!)

Great trial version. The computer is very difficult. Would like to see better board designs.
